PICCSI (pronounced “PIXIE!”) is a group of volunteer doctors, nurses, midwives and other volunteers who donate their time and expertise in an effort to improve the lives of women in the Pacific.
PICCSI is a not-for-profit group. All donations to PICCSI go directly to our aid project: none of our volunteer health workers or administrators are paid for their time. The only reimbursement they receive is the satisfaction of doing a great job for a very worthy cause.
We do not pay for advertising. Every dollar we receive ends up being spent on our core project: screening and treating Pacific Island women for HPV/cervical cancer.
